Greetings Adventurer

I'm a 55-year-old veteran dungeon master and I've been running campaigns and games in my own homebrew world of Adherlwyn for almost 40 years. I have been fortunate to have a myriad of enthusiastic and imaginative players to help develop and drive imagination, story, and adventure.

Needless to say, I had decades worth of content.

A couple of years ago, what will probably be my final campaign came to an end. Once again, as any dungeon master probably understands, it wasn't the story that closed but life that gets in the way. Players move, get married, have children, some even have grandchildren, and life goes on. The slow trickle of obligation, reducing gaming sessions from once a week, to once a month, to once in a while.

When my last campaign ended, I took a long look at the piles of paperwork, pencil drawn maps, 3 ring binders full of type written content from decades ago, and folders full of memories. It was then that I decided to take on the seemingly daunting task of bringing it all together into a collection of books that could be preserved and remembered the way they deserved. It took me more than a year to assemble and put together all of what I had. I am an aging dungeon master and not a corporation. I don't have an art department, a room full of editors, collections of modern graphics software, and access to rooms full of artists.

When you go to visit my site, you’ll see what I created with the often-free tools that I have available. Tools many veteran gamers already know exist and probably have used themselves. I did the best I could. And while it’s a bit bush league, what I have collected and put together is not about the artwork, it's not about how cool the maps may be, or how fancy the cover art is, it's about the content. It's about the ridiculously deep, play tested, clever stories, heroes, and places that made Adherlwyn so fun to play in for all those years.

So browse, enjoy, and welcome to Adherlwyn.
